i spent the past 2 days hanging out at bronte beach. this is what summer holidays are all about in sydney....

land of the mountain apple....

last night we stayed at a dear friends place in bilpin, a quiet little town situated in the blue mountains (known as land of the mountain apples)

as you can imagine there is not much to do but kick back and enjoy the scenery, usually you will find me on the couch with a glass of wine while the boys are out doing their boy stuff....cant wait to get back there after the silly season!

the rats nest

my friend simon carter, former frontman and songwriter for sydney band the cops played his first solo gig at the rats nest on friday 11th december.

simon and his new band performed songs from his forthcoming album the black book of the universe.. i had a fantastic night catching up with some old friends and listened to some great music... rock on simon!!!!!

opera house

i was at the opera house today for a friends birthday drinks. i was distracted when i spotted this lovely old lady with her socks and sandals.

i have always said socks and sandals are a no no (unless your name is sven) but somehow this nanna pulled it off. on closer observation, i noticed they were qantas socks!!

my only regret was i didn't take a picture of her full outfit.

i was fortunate enough to be invited to the louis vuitton christmas party last night. it was a perfect night to take photos of shoes however i left the battery for my camera at home and could only use my phone camera! these, unfortunately are the only good pics i had.
