| one of the things about being in another city, is discovering cafes or shops that may not exist in your part of the world. i have been fortunate enough to be in madrid again this week and whilst mr minty (my boss) and i were on our walk, we discovered don flamenco, they make shoes for flamenco dancers i love their window, you can tell they are all about tradition handcraftmanship. i especially loved the little hand drawings of the shoe on each box. |

| head of crying woman with handkerchief iii pablo picasso i was fortunate enough to have spent a couple of weeks in madrid for work. madrid is a charming city with great food, beautiful architecture and home to some of the finest art museums in the world. i visited museo reina sofia which was visually mind blowing! i have been meaning to post some pictures up from the trip but have been a bit lazy. tonight, i decided to challenge myself and see if i could connect some pictures i took in madrid with the recent fall winter 2011 ready to wear collection… |
